Don't be surprised if you have to wait a bit for a table, and then wait a bit for your meal, especially if you order the fried chicken. We both ordered fried half chickens. The coating was really crispy and delicious but not greasy. The meat was tender and juicy. The fried okra was a tad on the soft side. I would have preferred it to be crispy like the chicken. We ordered pie to go. Lemon merengue mini pie and a slice of chocolate peanut butter. The lemon merengue had a nice, flakey homemade crust. Delish! All the wait staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming. ”
